STMicroelectronics STM32U3 ultra-low-power Arm Cortex-M33 32-bit microcontroller with integrated TrustZone and floating-point unit (FPU) that can operate at frequencies up to 96MHz. Single-channel precision FPUs support all Arm single-channel precision data processing instructions and data types. The Cortex-M33 core also enables a complete digital signal processing (DSP) instruction set and memory protection unit (MPU) for improved application security. STM32U3 device is based on near-threshold voltage technology that reduces active power consumption to 10 μA/Mhz, significantly extending battery life for a wide range of applications. ®®®

The device embeds speed memory (1MB flash memory and 256-Kbytes SRAM), an Octo/Quad-SPI flash interface, enhanced I/O, peripherals connected to three APB buses, two AHB buses, and a 32-bit multi-AHB bus matrix. STM32U3 MCUs integrate embedded flash memory and SRAM protection mechanisms. The devices also offer two 12-bit ADCs (2.5Msps), two comparators, two op-amps, two DAC channels, an internal voltage reference buffer, a low-power RTC, three general-purpose 32-bit timers, a 16-bit PWM timer dedicated to motor control, three general-purpose 16-bit timers, two basic 16-bit timers, and up to four 16-bit low-power timers.

STM32U3 device embeds a low-power digital filter dedicated to audio signals (ADF), one of which supports sound activity detection. Additional features include up to 21 capacitive sensing channels, standard/advanced communication interfaces, and multiple peripherals. STMicroelectronics STM32U3 MCUs provide a high degree of protection against transient attacks and other attacks.
